There are many ways of increasing your website’s traffic using different types of methods. The ones I will be sharing with you in this article are the most reliable and offer long-term success. You will have to be patient though to see results. Don’t expect your traffic to increase drastically in a week.
Article Submission
A good way to increase your website’s traffic is by submitting articles to article directories. Try finding article directories that have huge amounts of traffic. Write an interesting article with good and new information that people want to read. If well written, your article
could get picked up and shared on other people’s websites, blogs, etc. This will increase your website’s visibility by a lot, therefore, your traffic may increase significantly. Your article should contain 2 – 3 keywords or key phrases and put only up to 3 hyperlinks at max pointing to your website, also containing keywords.
Blogs & Forums
This is probably the most effective way to increase your website’s traffic. Unlike article submission or press releases, being active in forums and blogs gives you an
almost instant traffic increase. For example, if someone asks a complicated question in a forum and you provide it with a good answer, people will most probably click on your signature to end up on your website or research your forum profile. Now it is important that your website has a good structure and
solid, relevant content. Once they will land on your page, they will look for more information on what you were writing in the forum. My best suggestion would be to find popular forums and blogs that have big amounts of traffic and post quality content in them.
Don’t forget to add your signature with inbound links to your website using keywords or key phrases as your anchor texts.
Social Networking
Submitting yourself to social networks is very important to increase your website’s traffic. First off it is one of the quickest ways to get your website indexed and building efficient traffic. Create your account using your main keyword as your username.
Offer a good and solid profile describing everything you do, where you studied, what you’re certified to do, and obviously, your website’s link.
E-Mail Marketing
Once your traffic is built, you want to maintain that traffic. You have to keep on
feeding your audience with new and fresh content. Another good way to keep your traffic is by sending e-mails to your subscribers with new products that you have to offer, contests, free giveaways, blog posts etc… Remember that people will keep on coming to you
as long as you have good content, services or products. You can also send monthly newsletters. Those newsletters will give your clientele an overview of the new products, articles, etc. that you have to offer. Doing monthly contests and prize winning trivia quizzes or anything like that will help you keep your traffic.
