The title tag is the most important out of all 3 tags because this one, unlike the meta tags, does influence your ranking. Putting the proper keywords in your title tag is very important. Remember that search engines will look for your keywords to find relevancy with a search query. A search engine will give heavier weight to a keyword that is placed first than one that is placed last.
Everybody out there who has a business and would like to add their company name in the title, make sure to put it at the end. Let’s say you sell cell phones and your company is called “Jumbo”, this is how you would most likely put your keywords: cell phones for sale – cheap cell phones – cell phones services | Jumbo.
This is the most effective way to set up your keywords in your title tag. Now don’t try to out smart a search engine by spamming the title tag with all sorts of keywords. Keep it short and specific. Besides, the search engines will cut out anything longer than 70 characters.
